On Saturday January 14th Mr Driver and Mr Burton-Pye took 4 pupils to the U11 IAPS National Badminton competition held at Collet Court, the junior school to St Pauls School in London. 20 teams were involved in the competition and each team played 4 games in a round robin.

Both our pairs won all 4 of their group games and as result finished top of their respective groups. They made it through to the semi finals with some brilliant play. Sita and Gauri Morjaria won a tough final, outplaying York House 21-11, making MKPS the IAPS U11 National Badminton Champions.

Arin Mital and Meera Kumar were just beaten in a very closely fought semi-final, 21-18.

All 4 played extremely well and deserve huge congratulations.
